Halfway into my first sessions with Carolyn Neill, I knew I was being touched by a natural born healer….
I have been receiving massage bodywork regularly over the past 3 years averaging about once a month. I have been to countless certified massage instructors throughout California, may of whom practiced in exclusive Spas, from the Napa Valley to Palm Springs. Having lived in the San Francisco area most of my life, I thought I had experienced the best of the best. I have lived in Rancho Mirage about 18 months and was referred to Carolyn by one of her clients. The moment I met Carolyn, shook her hand and listen to her describe the work she does, I was excited to begin. I knew I was going to receive a wonderful massage but I never expected it to include the merging and healing of my body and soul.
Carolyn ended up being heads above anyone I had met in my life. In addition to her list of professional credentials and years of experience in her field, Carolyn's intuitive abilities allowed her to tap into parts of my body that were in need of the greatest healing.
During my first session, Carolyn led me through guided imagery as she aligned my chakras to create balance and harmony. She used the rhythm of my body to navigate healing energy through the warmth of her hands. I believe Carolyn is a Master in her field and I am fortunate to have found her. She is admired and respected by me and all those that know her. As I continue to see Carolyn on a regular basis, I enjoy telling everyone I know about the work she does in the "IRISH HEALING SANCTUARY" in the middle of the desert known as Palm Springs, California.

In January of this year my friends and I boarded a plane form San Francisco heading for our annual 'relaxing' weekend in Palm Springs. We did not realize that we were entering the storm of the year. Our flight was horrendous. Many people actually screamed as the plane was tossed about in the turbulence. The winds and rains were so bad we were unable to land in Palm Springs, after several harrowing tries, and we were diverted to Ontario where we landed and were put on a bus. Instead of arriving at 8.30pm we arrived after 1.00 in the morning.
I was a wreck emotionally and physically the next morning. The desk clerk at our hotel, the Movie Colony Hotel, recommended a massage with Carolyn Neill. I am a Deputy Sheriff and have a high tolerance for stress and upset, however I didn't think a massage would help. I was wrong.
Ms. Neill is a consummate professional. She gave me, what I consider to be, the best and most caring massage of my life. She led me through a guided meditation that allowed me to release all of the stress and pressures that had built up. I couldn't believe I felt it actually melting away. Not only was my physical massage helpful in releasing the tension knots in my back and neck, but the meditation replaced all my fear and trauma with an unbelievable sense of well being. The entire experience was so transformative I immediately booked another massage for myself for the following day.
I have referred friends to Ms. Neill and will continue to do so…. she has an incredible intuitive gift for healing.

I am happy for the opportunity to tell my experiences with Carolyn Neill.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was lucky enough to have only radiation. Since that time I have vowed to become as healthy as possible through healthy eating and exercise.
One of my goals was to run the 5K "Woman running wild" (a fund raiser for breast cancer) in March 2005. Although I did not mention to Carolyn, she was, through her insight, instrumental in my attaining my goal.
I was training 4 days a week and not getting very far and had to stop running frequently because I was gasping for breath and becoming very apprehensive. I went in for a massage session with Carolyn because I thought it would help relax me.
She noted that my breath was not getting into my "heart" area. So she virtually taught me to breathe properly. The next day, my training became much easier and I remained calm whiles running the race.
By the way, I finished that 5K easily, thanks to Carolyn's insightful treatment.

I was introduced to professional massages because my father received massages, at our home, every week. I am currently 38 years old and I have been receiving professional massages since age 10, from no less that 30 professionals.
By age 10, aside from basketball, baseball, and football, I was competing at the highest level in water ski racing.
Beginning at age 14, I focused on 2 sports, volleyball and water ski racing.
I earned a scholarship to a Division 1 Volleyball program at age 17. At age 19, while In Hawaii to play in the University of Hawaii volleyball, I fractured the 7th vertebrae in my neck, as a result of a body surfing accident. By the way, I played the entire season without knowing I had fractured my neck….perhaps my massages disguised it?
Needless to say, my body has been sore on many occasions, for 2 decades. Simply put, I would not have made it through without massages.
After receiving no less than 500 professional massages. I have seen all types of masseuses, some not so good, some are as good as I thought a professional masseuse could be…UNTIL I MET CAROLYN NEILL.
I told Carolyn after my first massage from her that it was the BEST MASSAGE I had ever had!

After discussions with you in London where you discussed your concern and interest for initiating another project site in the district of Siddhartha Nagar/ Basti, Utter Pradesh and your wish to recommend health professional/volunteer in the name of Carolyn Neill to work alone at this sight.
I hope you will find time to discuss this further during your next visit to India.
I am indebted to you for giving us a volunteer in the person Carolyn Wilson- Neill, who worked at the Basti area for about 16 weeks. Due to climatic conditions, food differences and cultural variation she faced serious health hazards during her stay but as a Health Development Worker I am happy to report to you that she did an excellent job.
She did more that anybody can expect from a foreign volunteer. She organized a number of immunization camps, developed relationship with local officials, and local people. Her work report which she has submitted is not only excellent but also suggests many action programmes.
Everyone remembers her with great regard and love. We are sorry for her bad health and the problems she faced. The Assistant general Secretary of the Organization Mr. Vinod Prasad, was given responsibility to look after her and I understand he did his level best to keep her happy.
I hope now she must be recovering fast and shall be ok shortly. Further, I would like to hear about her at the earliest.
I wish she should again visit the project site as and when possible. We shall be ready to do everything possible for her, so that her commitment to serve the poor could be an inspiring example to others.

Carolyn Neill worked at the Ballymurphy Stress Management Center From March 200 - July 2002.
Carolyn worked in liaison with Community Counselors in assisting clients through personal issues of post Traumatic Stress due to the last 30 years of violence in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The majority of clients attend the Stress Center after being referred by their General Practitioners or Community Psychiatric Nurses, the clients suffer from various levels of stress due to physical, mental or emotional trauma.
The Stress center has organized classes for clients to work in groups to address their individual needs for stress management and relaxation techniques to assist them in their everyday life. Carolyn played an important role in planning and implementation of these classes.
Her therapeutic input into work in the Stress Center includes Healing, Therapeutic Massage, Gestalt Psychotherapy and Counselling Skills for individuals and groups.
Through the therapeutic treatments that Carolyn delivers to the clients who attend the Stress Center, she has enabled them to deal with past and present traumas and has given them the confidence to deal with the future. Many of the clients when they first attend the Center are dependant on prescription drugs and alcohol, the treatments and programms that Carolyn has helped to devise have empowered many of the clients to make informed choices on their well being.
